A letter from the land's office addressed to Mr. Z.M. Studzinski. Text in negative: in letter form: 'Mailo Office Department of Lands and Surveys, P.O. Box 95, Mukono, Uganda. 5th January, 1965. Mr. Z.M. Studzinski, F.R.I.C.S., L.S. (U), P.O.Box 14144, Mengo. Sir, Kyaggwe Block 165 Land at Namataba. I have to refer to your application to survey 40.0 acres for Mackay Mukasa a successor of Hamu Mukasa on the above estate, and to inform you that Hamu Mukasa is a proprietor of an unascertained portion of 640.0 acres being part of the land comprised in the above block. 600.0 acres were provisionally surveyed by late Gee, but this survey was not approved, and therefore the whole 640.0 acres should be surveyed. I imagine there might be some dispute about the locality of this land by the successors of Yakobo Kasozi, and I would suggest you get in touch with his Head of Clan before you undertake the survey. I have the honour to be, Sir, Your obedient servant,.. Office-in-charge'
