Ritual slaughtering of animal on occasion of 'Kurban Bayram' Muslim holiday. The photo presents slaughtering of male sheep by Selemi Khasan and his male relatives on occasion of the Muslim holiday in Khadzhiite village. Traditionally the holiday is related with slaughtering a male sacrificial animal (kurban) and a prayer was read before. Part of the kurban is distributed to the poor and neighbours. The youth take forgiveness (kiss the hands ) from the older relatives.
