This is a postcard as a letter was sent by Pha Khamchan Virachitto, Abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam from Hue city, Vietnam during his visit to Vietnam to his disciple Novice Bunpheng Khan Amat at Vat Saen Sukharam on May 7, 1960. His hand writing on back in Lao and Latin letters: Left part: To Novice Bunpheng Vat Saen Sukharam, Luang Prabang, Laos. Right part: Hue city, middle of Vietnam 7.5.1960Dear Novice Bunpheng,I left from Luang Prabang and stayed in Vientiane and travelled to Saigon for 2 days and stayed there for 3 days. Left from Saigon to Hue by car for 2 days and arrived there on 6.5.60 at 12.30, distance 1,100 KM. After visiting the sightseeing the city and its ancient places then go back to Saigon on 8.5.60 and 2 days for travelling. This is an image of a bridge in Hue city, the city is both sides of river. Please take care of the monks who are building the big Budda statue for us in the Sim. And please tell monks and novices at our temple about me. Think off everyone of you. I am fine.
