Funeral ceremony of The Supreme Patriarch of Laos,His Holyness Dhammayana Maha Thela ( Bunthan Bupharat),The last patriarch of Lao of Vat Mai Suvannaphumaram Luang Prabang that died at the Sangkha hospital in Bangkok and held the cremation ceremony at Vat Tepsirintravah.In this occasion,the senior monks of Luang Prabang been participated in the offering Abhidhamma chanting ceremony,led by Pha Khamchan Virachitta Maha Thela,former abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam,the chairman of Buddhist Fellowship Organization of Luang Prabang province (sitting on the right).,the photo was taken in 1984 A.D.,(see Nr.A1579).
