Funeral ceremony of The Supreme Patriarch of Laos,His Holyness Dhammayana Maha Thela ( Bunthan Bupharat) (1892-1984),the last patriarch that died at the Sangkha hospital in Bangkok,The ceremony held at Vat Sirintravah and managed by his secretary,Pha Fanh Tissavangsa Maha Thela,former abbot of Vat Mai Suvannaphumaram Luang Prabang who standing on the left.He left Laos after revolution in 1975 A.D.,and been lived at Vat Yarnnava in Thailand till he death,During funeral there are the Puan tribe from the 10 provinces of Thailand came pay respect in corpse of Dhammayana Maha Thela ( Bunthan Bupharat) patriarch,Because they faithful and respect much on him,The ceremony held at Vat Tepsirintravah Bangkok.the photo was taken in 1984 A.D.,(see Nr.A1579).
