Sathou Onkeo Kittiphattho, Abbot of Vat Pak Khan posing for a portrait in front of the main hall of Vat Ban Thin, Namxoung River, Pak Ou District, Luang Prabang Province in 1996 when going to give a sermon of the Vessantara-Jatakaduring Boun Mahachath (the festival of Prince Vessantara) at Vat Ban Thin. He saw that the main hall of this temple was shabby, so he and lay people of Ban Thin repaired it, and completed in 2008, and he held the celebration in March, 2008.
