Monks and novices of Vat Maha That (Vat That Noy), Luang Prabang making a round lamp with four faces which has a meaning of the four holy abidings (the sublime states of mind): 1. Metta (loving kindness), 2. Karouna (compassion), 3. Mouthita (sympathetic joy), 4. Oupekkha (equanimity) for illumination during Boun Ok Phansa (End of Buddhist retreat) in B.E. 2537 (C.E. 1995).
