Plain of jars.in Xiengkouang province,Laos. near Phonsavan about 15 Kilo meters, Meanwhile,local legend says in the 6th century,the jars are commonly said to be 2000 years old, most weighing 600Kg to one tonne,The largest jar weighs much as six tonnes,and is said to have been the victory cup of mythical King Jeuam and so is called Hai Jeuam,.This photo was taken in1954.(Text from Lao Lonely Plannet, published in Aug,2007,).
