Sathou Nyai Khamchan Virachitta Mahathera (Abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam) led the monks and novices practice Thoudong meditation (the thirteen practices of ascetic monk) in the forest at Ban Xiengmaen, Chomphet district, Luang Prabang in 1959.
