Sathou Nyai Khamchan Virachitto, the abbot of Vat Saen Soukharam, at the age of 23. This photograph was taken in Bangkok in 1943. At the same year, Sathou Nyai Kaenchan Katchayana Mahathera, the former abbot of Vat Saen Soukharam, passed away. Monks and Lao people of Ban Vat Saen had asked Sathou Khamchan Virachitto who was at Vat Pa Fang to be the abbot of Vat Saen Soukharam until he passed away in 2007.
