Buddhist Sangha from Luang Prabang and Vientiane, heads by Somdet Phra Sangharaj Dhammayana Mahathera (Bounthan Boupharat) of Vat Mai Suvannaphoumaram go for a pilgrimage to propagate Buddhism in Luang Namtha in 1957. Monk walking in front is Somdet Phra Akkha Maha Bandith (Phra Louk Keo Khoun Manivong) of Vat That Luang Neua, the Sangha Na Nyok (the chief monk of the Lao Buddhist Sangha).
