The coffin for the corpse of Somdet Phra Akkha Mahabandith Phra Lookkeo Khoun Manivong, the former abbot of Vat That Luang Neua, Vientiane, the former Sanghanayok, (the chief monk of the Lao Buddhist Sangha) is laid on a funeral pyre in the cremation ceremony at That Luang field in Vientiane 1968.
