Sathou Nyai Khamchan Virachitta Mahathera, the abbot of Vat Saen Soukharam. This photo was taken at the gate of Vat Meuang Souay, Xam Neua District, Hua Phanh Province on 1 May, 1975 when he going to propagate Buddhism with Sathou Nyai Khamfanh Silasavara Mahathera, the abbot of Vat Khili. Vat Meuang Souay was built in C.S. 927 (C.E. 1565), and it is 410 years old in 1975.
