As a part of this festival, the principal idol of the temples is decorated and taken in procession through the tank of the temple).In the middle of the tank, there is an illuminated mandappa and on the border of the tank there is a another floating mandappa, where men are pulling it by a rope. There are main gopuram and small gopuram of the temple. In front of it, people are watching. On the background, there are compound wall and trees.
