Buddha Image of PhraPhouthasingha Sinnavone was made off copper,It is 2.50 meters high, the Diameter is 1.55 meters width and the weight is 900 kilograms. Phra Khouphrasath Sagkhakhit and Prime Minister Sounthone Pahammavog, who have faithful for building this Buddha statue on 22nd Febuary, B.E 2500 (C.E 1957) and finished in January, B.E 2502 (C.E 1959) used found total 260.000 kip. The engineer is thai, during of building the Buddha they inviated monks to chant Stanza of victory and make ceremoney like formertime when it finished and procession to stand at Vat Somhong on 28th Fabuary, B.E 2502 (C.E 1959).
