This collection contains the photographic archive of Kalpana Studio which was opened in 1972 in Thirunelveli town near Nellaiyappar temple by Parameswaran, the owner. He still maintains the same old architecture of the studio. We could see the properties, lights, cameras, that were used before 1970’s. The photographic material includes: 29 framed prints. The photographic material is dated from 1972. The original location of each image is reflected in each digital file name. This collection contains 29 images of indoor, studio and outdoor portraits of framed prints.
Custodial history: The material was held by Parameshwaran, current owner of Kalpana Studio. Presently the material is kept with him.
