The dKon brtsegs, or Ratnakuta sutra group, is a rich compilation of Mahayana sutras that delve into themes such as meditation, altruism, ultimate truth, and the Bodhisattva path. Presented in six volumes, the collection follows the traditional poti format, with the text inscribed in uchen script using black ink on cream-colored Bhutanese handmade paper. The first page of each volume is adorned with gold ink on dark blue paper. Revered as a sacred relic, the collection is carefully housed on newly constructed bookshelves within the Dzong fortress. Each volume is meticulously wrapped in multiple layers of cloth, encased between two wooden boards, and securely fastened with a belt, ensuring its preservation and sanctity for future generations.
Extent: 6 volumes of manuscripts.
