The opening section of the text begins with the Sinom metre, recounting the moment when Sultan Arum received a divine revelation. It is said that he was given a command by Hyang Sukma to populate and bring prosperity to the island of Java, which at that time was still an uninhabited wilderness. This divine mandate was conveyed through a speech delivered directly by the Sultan to his patih (chief minister). The middle part of the manuscript vividly depicts a scene of warfare. The young prince (putra narendra) leads a massive army into battle, accompanied by the thunder of war drums and the clamorous voices of the soldiers. The troops, vast in number, march in formation, preparing for a fierce battle that is portrayed with growing intensity and noise. The final part of the text describes various regions that were becoming centers of human settlement, particularly the villages surrounding Pajang and Pengging. It is mentioned that between Mount Lawu and Mount Merapi lies an area referred to as tanah tengahan—the central land—inhabited by wise and knowledgeable individuals. Regions such as Gunung Kidul, Kajoran, Kedu, and Begelen are noted as newly settled areas, while Mataram at that time was still covered in dense forest.
