This manuscript tells the story about the chronicle of Mataram. The events told in Babad Mataram include the conquests made by the Islamic Mataram dynasty in Java, such as the invasion of Pasuruan and the invasion of Panarukan. The text begins with the Mataram army’s attack on the city of Lasem and concludes with Prince Suryakusuma’s meeting with his family regarding the renaming of his younger brother, Suryaputra.
