ເລັມຫຼວງ ເປັນບົດເທສະໜາ ພັນລະນາເຖິງພະຍາຕົນໜຶ່ງຢູ່ເມືອງລັງກາ(ສີລັງກາ) ໄດ້ທ້ອນໂຮມຄໍາພີຕ່າງໆ ທີ່ບັນທຶກຄໍາສອນທາງພະພຸດທະສາສະໜາ ມາບູຊາ ບາງຄໍາພີແຜ່ນພະອໍລະຫັນເອົາມາແຕ່ເມືອງຟ້າ. ບຸກຄະລະຜູ້ໃດມີສັດທາໄດ້ແຕ້ມຂຽນເອົາທໍາເລັມຫຼວງຜູກນີ້ກໍ່ຈັກໄດ້ຮັບອານິສົງຫຼາຍບໍ່ອາດນັບໄດ້ ພະຍາອິນກໍ່ຈັກອິນດູຜູ້ນັ້ນ. ບຸກຄະລະຜູ້ໃດໄດ້ຟັງທໍາເລັມຫຼວງນີ້ກໍ່ຈັກໄດ້ອານິສົງ ເມື່ອຕາຍໄປຈັກໄດ້ກັບມາເກີດເປັນພະເຈົ້າຈັກກະພັດຕົນປະເສີດແລະພາບແພ້ໂພຍໄພທັງຫຼາຍ ແລະຈະເປັນທີ່ຮັກແກ່ຄົນທັງຫຼາຍ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໗ ໜ້າ ໑: ສັງກາດ ໑໒໖໘ ຕົວ ປີຮວາຍສະງ້າ ເດືອນ ໑໐ ຂຶ້ນ ໑໐ ຄໍ່າ ມື້ເຕົ່າຍີ່ ແຖວສັກພັກ ວັນ ໑ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມຕູດຊ້າຍ ໝາຍມີ ເຈົ້າຂະໜານໂພທິປັນຍາເປັນຜູ້ຣິດຈະນາໃຫ້ທິດພັນເປັນຜູ້ຊື້ລານ ຜູ້ຂ້າຂໍໂມທະນານໍານໍາເຈົ້າລານ ຂໍໃຫ້ຜູ້ຂ້າຫາຍບາບໂທດ ຂໍໃຫ້ຜະລະໂກສົນຄໍ້າຊູຜູ້ທັງຊົ່ວນີ້ແລະຊົ່ວໜ້າ ຂໍໃຫ້ຜູ້ຂ້າໄດ້ເຂົ້າສູ່ນີຣະພານເປັນທີ່ແລ້ວກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໂນ ນິບພານັງ ປະຣະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ. ເຫລັ້ມຫລວງຜູກນີ້ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າໝົດຊົ່ວໃບລານກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ສາທຸໆ.

Lem Luang is used to preach a sermon depiciting a king in Sri Lanka who had collected thousand manuscripts which were recorded the teachings of the previous four Buddhas from various places. Some manuscripts were brought from the sky kingdom by arants. Anyone who has the faith to make a copy of this Lem luang or make a worship to it, will gain much merit with countlessness. Indra will be kind of the person. Anyone who has a chance to listen to the Lem luang will gain merit. After death, the one will be reborn as great kings in the future lives. The person will be respected and beloved by people. Colophon: Folio 7 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1268, a hwai sanga year, on the tenth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, a tao nyi day, the first day of the week (Sunday), the writing was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Chao Khanan Phothipannya is the scribe. Thit Phan sponsored the palm leaves. May I be free from bad consequences. May the results of the merit support me through this life and the futeur lives. May I enter into Nirvana. May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, the greatest bliss. This manuscript of Lem Luang is to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of life of the palm leaves.
