King Sangkhatsa ruled Sangkhatsa Nakhon. He had a daughter named Princess Sukhantha Rasakummari. When the princess was 16 years old, she had soft skin and became a beautiful girl. At the time, a royal minister named Phanthu informed King Phommadata about the beauty of the princess. When King Phommadata heard about that he fell in love with the princess without seeing in person. The king commanded his ministers to bring offerings to the king of Sanghkhatsa Nakhon in order to ask the king for his daughter. King Sangkhatsa ruled Sangkhatsa Nakhon. Colophon: Folio 29 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1284, a tao set year, on the ninth day of the waning moon of the twelfth lunar month, the first day of the week (Sunday), a huang khai day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). The initiator, Chao Phikkhu Sondet Chittapannya from Vat Long Khun monastery had the ardent religious faith in the Teachings of the Buddha to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Bāli Sutmon Doek (Prayers in Pali used for Early Morning Chant) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all my desires and wishes come true. May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, constantly, certainly and the greatest bliss.
