ສອງສັງຮອມທາດ (ຜູກ ໕)

On one occasion, the Buddha was dwelling at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi. King Sutthatsanachak who ruled Lanka city heard the Buddha delivered a sermon to a deva on the sang hòm that (the integration of the relics), the king along with his servants carried offerings came to the present of the Buudha. The king worshipped and paid respect to the Buddha and asked the Buddha that, the person who has the religious faith listened to or worshiped the Dhamma scripture named sang hòm that, what rewards does the person gain? Later on, the Buddha gave a sermon to the king and his servants on the sang hòm that in details. Colophon: Folio 9 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa (CS) 1277, a hap mao year, on the third day of the waning moon of the seventh lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng vat (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). The initiator, Mòm (Monk) Pan and his lay father and mother, and all siblings had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sang hòm Thāt (Integration of the relics), to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha. May all our desires and wishes come true. May this be a condition for me to reach Nirvana, constantly and certainly, the greatest bliss. Mòm (Monk) Pan is the scribe.
