The content tells in the time of Sikhi Buddha, our Bodhisattva was born as King Arindumma ruling the kingdom of Paributa. The Bodhisattva had been performing the giving perfection. He sponsored the Buddha and monks and distributed things to ordinary people. The Bodhisattva was prophesied by the Buddha that he will attain enlightenment and become a Buddham named Gotama, thirty eons from then. Colophon: Folio 23 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1222, a kot san year, on the first day of the waxing moon of the eleventh lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a tao set day, the writing was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Sathu (Prince) Nya and his wife together with all their children had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Phutthavongsa (Family of the Buddhas) to support the Teaching of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes come true. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no dhuvaṃ niccaṃ niccaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, certainly and constantly, the greatest bliss).
