ທະນົນໄຊຍະບັນດິດຊາດົກ ພະໂພທິສັດເກີດເປັນທະນົນໄຊບັນດິດ ຜູ້ເປັນປາດໃນຣາຊະສໍານັກຂອງພະເຈົ້າໂກຣົບພະຣາດແຫ່ງນະຄອນອິນທະປັດ. ຄັ້ງໜຶ່ງ ທະນົນໄຊບັນດິດໄດ້ຊ່ວຍພະເຈົ້າໂກຣົບພະຣາດໃຫ້ພົ້ນຈາກນັນທະຍັກດ້ວຍການສະແດງທໍາ. ພະເຈົ້າໂກຣົບພະຣາດຈຶ່ງແຕ່ງຕັ້ງໃຫ້ເປັນບັນດິດຄົນທີ່ ໔ ປະຈໍາຣາຊະສໍານັກ. ວັນໜຶ່ງ ທະນົນໄຊບັນດິດແລະບັນດິດທັງສາມໄດ້ວິນິໄສປັນຫາຕ່າງໆຖວາຍພະເຈົ້າໂກຣົບພະຣາດ. ທະນົນໄຊບັນດິດຕອບປັນຫາໄດ້ຢ່າງຄົມຄາຍ ໂດຍອີງໃສ່ຄວາມເປັນຈິງຂອງທໍາມະຊາດເຮັດໃຫ້ບັນດິດທັງ ໓ ຄົນນັ້ນບໍ່ອາດໂຕ້ແຍ້ງໄດ້. ບັນດິດທັງ ໓ ທີ່ຣິດສະຫຍາ ຈຶ່ງຫາເລື່ອງໃສ່ຮ້າຍທະນັນໄຊບັນດິດ ເຮັດໃຫ້ພະຣາຊາບໍ່ພໍພະໄທ. ໃນທີ່ສຸດພະຣາຊາກໍ່ຂັບໄລ່ເຈົ້າທະນົນໄຊບັນດິດອອກຈາກເມືອງ. ຕໍ່ມາ ເມືອງອິນທະປັດເກີດຄວາມວຸ່ນວາຍ ເພາະເທວະດາຮັກສາເມືອງແລະນັນທະຍັກບໍ່ໄດ້ຟັງທໍາເປັນເວລາມາດົນນານ ຈຶ່ງດົນບັນດານໃຫ້ເກີດເຫດວິປະລິດຂຶ້ນໃນເມືອງ ພະເຈົ້າໂກລົບພະຣາດຈຶ່ງໃຫ້ເຊີນເຈົ້າທະນົນໄຊບັນດິດກັບຄືນມາແກ້ໄຂປັນຫາ. ຈາກນັ້ນ, ພະເຈົ້າໂກຣົບພະຣາດຈຶ່ງຕັ້ງໃຫ້ອຸປະຣາດ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໑) ລານທີ ໒໑ ໜ້າ ໒: ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າພິກຂຸ ເຄຫະປັນຍາ ຜູ້ຣິກຂິຕາ ຂໍໂມທະນາດ້ວຍເຖິດ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໒) ລານທີ ໒໒ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊາໄດ້ ໑໒໙໘ ຕົວ ປີຮວາຍໃຈ້ ເດືອນ ໘ ຂຶ້ນ ໑ ຄໍ່າ ໗ ມື້ກາເຮົ້າ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມກອງແລງ ມູນລະສັດທາ ໝາຍມີ ສົມເດັດຣາຊະຄຣູ ຣະຕະນະປັນຍາ ແລະ ສົມເດັດສັງຄະຊາ ຣະຕະນະປັນຍາ ແລະ ສົມເດັດມິດສະປັນຍາ ຢູ່ວັດສີສະຫວັນ ສັງຄະໂລກ ພ້ອມກັນມີໃຈໃສສັດທາເປັນອັນຍິ່ງ ຈິ່ງພ້ອມກັນສ້າງໜັງສື ທະນັນໄຊຍະບັນດິດ ອົງແລະ ໓ ຜູກນີ້ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະໂຄຕະມະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕ ພັນ ວັດສາ ຂໍໃຫ້ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າທັງ ໓ ໄດ້ດັ່ງຄໍາມັກຄໍາປາດຖະໜາແດ່ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໂນ ນິບພານັງ ປາລະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ ນິດຈັງ ທຸວັງ.
Dhananjaya Pandita Jataka. The Bodhisattva had his life as Vidhura Pandita who was a sage in the court of King Koroppharat of Indapatta kingdom. Once, Dhananjaya saved King Koroppharat from Nanda Giant by preaching the Dhamma. Therefore, the king appointed Dhananjaya as the royal fourth sage. One day, Dhananjaya and other three sages diagnosed various problems for the king. Dhananjaya’s answers were clever accordingto the natural reality that made the other three sages could not argue. The three sages were jealous and slandered Dhananjaya that made the king unhappy. Finally, Dhananjaya was expelled by the king. Later on, Inthapat kingdom was chaos because guardian spirits and Nanda Giant did not listen to the Dhamma for long, they thus made strange happenings in the kingdom. Therefore, the king gave his order to call Dhanajaya back for resolving the problems. Later, Dhananjaya was appointed by the king as viceroy. Colophons: (1) Folio 21 on the verso side: I am Bhikkhu Khehapannya the scribe of this manuscript. I rejoice with the sponsor. (2) Folio 22 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1289, a hwai chai year, the first day of the waxing moon of the eighth lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a ka hao day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). The initiators, Somdet Rasakhru Rattanapannya, and Somdet Sangkhasa Ratanapannya and Somdet Missapannya, who lived in Vat Sangkhalok jointly had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of these manuscripts entitled Thanansaiyabandit, 3 fascicles each to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all three of us achieve our wishes and desires. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna. Nibbāna is the greatest bliss.
