A Brahmin entered into the forest and met a hermit and became the disciple of the hermit. The hermit was pleased to teach him a mantra called Alambayana that was the mantra of the garuda catching the naga. When the Brahmin saw the way to feed him, so he left the hermit and retuned the city. On the way he was walking and reciting the mantra, the nagas who came up to play in the water heard the mantra and were shocked, they thought garudas came and run away into the water and forgot a gem on the bank. When the Brahmin saw the crystal, he took it. On the way, he met a hunter named Nesavat who was hunting. When Nesavat hunter saw the crystal, he remembered that it was like the crystal that Bhuridatta had given him to see, so he asked for the crystal with the exchange that if he wanted to know anything, he would tell him about it. The Brahmin said that he wanted to know the residence of the nagas because he had a mantra for catching the nagas. So the hunter took him to see Bhuridatta while he was practicing his morality.
