Pathamasambodhi, or Pathamasambodhikathā, or Pathomsomphot is one of the Buddhist literatures widespread in Southeast Asia, presents the story of Gotama Buddha in details, starts from the occurrrence of the Sakya failmy, through the royal marriage between King Suddhana, the Buddha’s father and Queen Sirimahamaya, the Buddha’s mother, the Bodhisattva decented from Tusita heaven to the womb of his mother, the birth of the Bodhisattva, royal coronation and ordination, enlightenment, proclamation of Buddhism by setting the wheel of the Dhamma in motion, preaching the seven scriptures of the Abhidhamm to his mother in the heaven of Tavatimsa in return, passing away and distribution of the relics.
