Vinaya text on the Kammavaca written in Pali in Lanna script is used my monks in the ordination procedure of monks in Buddhism. Colophons: (1) Folio 25 on the verso side: Nyatti khammavacha. I made this manuscript in a huang khai year. Sakkaphatha 1153, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock), the second day of the waning moon of the eleventh lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a kot san day, accomplished on that day. (2) Folio 26 on the verso side: The lay Buddhist sponsor is Ai Sòi from Ban Nyom village. [He] had a religious faith to find the blank palm-leaves and sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Khammavacha phutthavachana, to support the Teachings to Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
