Vinaya text on the Patimokkha. The text was written in Nisaya style tells the meeting of the Sangha for the uposatha (the recitation of the Pathimokkha). The preparation of the place where the Uposatha will be performed such as cleaning, water for drinking and using, put seats, flowers, incenses, and candles. Moreover, the text tells the different seasons for the uposatha such as khimhanta season (summer), vasanta season (rainy), and hemanta season (winter) for which they will use the particular words in Pali for each season. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa 123 (corresponding with CS 1230), a poek si year, the eighth day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month, a kap san day, Monday. The writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30-9.00 o’clock). Somdet Tan (Supreme Patriarch Tan) is the scribe of this manuscript. The donor of the palm-leaves was Maekhao (a nun). In order to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May my wishes and desires become true . May I reach the three states of happiness with Nibbāna as the ultimate goal. May this not be ignored as what I have been desired. Amen, amen! May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna which is the greatest bliss, constantly and certainly.
