The text was written in Pali language on the Pathama Pārājika, the first cause of the four major offences that is the sexual intercourse with a woman. The monk who breaks this precept he is automatically defeated in the holy life and falls from monkhood immediately. He is not allowed to participate in any of the formal acts and to become a monk again in his lifetime. The monk who was the first cause of establishing the Pathama Pārājika is Sudina Thera. He committed adultery with his former wife. The cause happened in Vesali. Colophon: Folio 1 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1203, a huang pao year, the second day of the waning moon of the third lunar month, a poek set day, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o'clock). Phanya Luang Müang Khua along with his wife named Chao Nang Khamvaen had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Pali Parasikan (Pārājika), to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna. May wishes of us come true.
