ສອງຜ້າອຸໂປສົດ, ສອງເສຍຫຍ້າ ແລະ ສອງກຸດທັງ(ວິດ)

ສອງຜ້າອຸໂປສົດ ໝາຍເຖິງ ການຖວາຍແຜ່ນຜ້າປູສໍາລັບພະສົງນັ່ງຟັງການສູດປາຕິໂມກໃນວັດສິນ ໑໕ ຄໍ່າ. ໃນສະໄໝໜຶ່ງ ພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າປະທັບຢູ່ທີ່ວັດເຊຕະວັນ ເມືອງສາວັດຖີ ຊົງປາລົບທານະປາລະມີຂອງພະພຸດທະອົງ ຈຶ່ງສະແດງພະທໍາມະເທດສະໜາດວງນີ້. ໃນສະໄໝຂອງພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າອົງຊື່ວ່າ ປະທຸມຸດຕະຣະ ພະຕະຖາຄົດແຫ່ງເຮົາໄດ້ບວດເປັນລືສີ ເພື່ອບໍາເພັນຄວາມພຽນ ຄັ້ນເມື່ອເຖິງວັນອຸໂປສົດ ເຈົ້າລືສີກໍ່ໄດ້ນ້ອມນໍາເອົາຜ້າອຸໂປສົດ ໄປຖວາຍໃຫ້ແກ່ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າປະທຸມຸດຕະຣະ ພ້ອມກັບໄດ້ອະທິຖານວ່າ ຂໍໃຫ້ໄດ້ເປັນພະຕະຖາຄົດໃນພາຍພາກໜ້າ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໑) ລານທີ່ ໑໖ ໜ້າ ໒: ຈຸນທະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ຮ້ອຍປາຍ ໖໙ ຕົວ (ກົງກັບ ຈສ.໑໑໖໙) ປີ ເມິ່ງເໝົ້າ ຫົວເຈົ້າຊາທຳມະປັນຍາ ມີສັດທາຣິດຈະນາ ສອງເສຍ[ຫຍ້າ] ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ຫ້າ ພັນວັດສາ ນິິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວ ເດືອນ ໑໐ ແຮມ ໑໒ ຄໍ່າ [ວັນ] ໒ ມື້ຮວາຍສັນ ແຖວທ້າຍບອກວ່າ ຍາມແຖໃກ້ທ່ຽງຄືນແລ ໃຜຍືມໄປໃຫ້ຮີບສົ່ງປາຍຂ້ອຍ ບາດບໍ່ຫວງທໍ່ວ່າໃຫ້ໃສ່ເຫຼັກ ຕົກກໍດີ ສັງກໍດີ ຂ້າໄວ້ຈຶ່ງໃຫ້ເດືອນມື້ວັນຄືນ ຜູ້ຢູ່ແລຜູ້ໃຫ້ ມັດແລຜູກສິພັດກັນເສຍ ຂ້ອຍບາດຂຽນຍາກແທ້ແລ້ວເຈົ້າເຮີຍ. (໒) ລານທີ່ ໒໒ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນທະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ຮ້ອຍປາຍ ໖໙ ຕົວ (ກົງກັບ ຈສ.໑໑໖໙) ປີ ເມິ່ງເໝົ້າ ຫົວເຈົ້າຊາທຳມະປັນຍາ ມີສັດທາຣິດຈະນາ ສອງໜັງສື ສອງກຸຕິງ ຍັງກຸຕິວິດ ໄວ້ໃຫ້ເປັນປະໂຫຍດຊານະແກ່ສາສະໜາພະພຸດທິເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ວັດສາ ນິິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວ ເດືອນ ໑໐ ແຮມ ໑໓ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໓ ມື້ເມິ່ງເຮົ້າ ແຖວສ້ຽວປ່າວ ຍາມຕູດຊ້າຍທ່ຽງວັນ. ໃຜຍືມໄປຮີບມາສົ່ງ ບໍ່ສົ່ງບາບ ໃຫ້ກົດເອົາເດືອນມື້ວັນ ກັບທັງຊື່ຜູ້ຂ້າແລະຜູ້ໃຫ້ໄວ້ ຢ່າໃຫ້ພັດຜູກແລະມັດ ໃຫ້ພີພັກແທ້ທ້ອນ ສອງວິດແລ ເຈົ້າເຮີຍ. (໔) ລານທີ່ ໒໓ ໜ້າ ໒: ສອງຂອດສິມຢູ່ຫນີ້ ແມ່ນໜັງສືຫົວເຈົ້າຊາທຳມະປັນຍາ ສອງເສຍຫຍ້າ ກັນໜຶ່ງແລະຢູ່ຖ້ວນ ໒ ແລ. ສອງວິດຖ້ວນ ໓ ແລ ແລະຢູ່ຖ້ວນ ໓ ແລ ສອງຜ້າບົວສົດ(ອຸໂປສົດ)ຢູ່ນີ້ ຖ້ວນ ໔ ຢູ່ກັນຖ້ວນ ໔ ສີ່ຜູກນີ້ມີ ໔ ກັນ. (໕) ລານທີ່ ໒໔ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ຮ້ອຍປາຍ ໖໙ ຕົວ ປີເມິ່ງເໝົ້າ ຫົວເຈົ້າຊາທໍາມະປັນຍາ ຣິດຈະນາສ້າງໜັງສື ສອງຜ້າອຸໂບສົດ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ ຂໍໃຫ້ໄດ້ດັ່ງຄໍາປາດຖະໜາ. ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໃຜຢືມໄປຮີບມາໄວ້ທີ່ເກົ່າ ຢ່າໃຫ້ພັດມັດແລະຜູກເທີ້ນ ບໍ່ຊອບແລ. ອັນໃຫ້ກົດເອົາຊື່ຜູ້ມາຍືມໄວ້ ກົດເອົາເດີນໄວ້ ກົດເອົາມື້ໄວ້ ກົດເອົາວັນໄວ້ ກົດເອົາຊື່ວັດໄວ້ໃຫ້ຄັດໄວ້ ດ່ັງກ່າວ ນັ້ນເທີ້ນ. ສອງຜ້າບົວສົດ ແມ່ນຜູກ ໖ ຖ້ວນ ໖ ແລ. ເດີນ ໑໐ ແຮມ ໑໔ ຄໍ່າ ວັນພຸດ ມື້ເປີກເສັດ ແຖວ ໙ ກອງ ຍາມຕູດຊ້າຍກາງວັນແລ.

Sòng pha uposot means the rewards derived from offering the cloth for the monks to sit on and listen to the recitation of Patimokkha on the fifteenth wax moon or waning moon day. On one occasion, while residing at the Jetavana monastery, the Buddha spoke to his disciples about his perfection of amls giving and then gave this sermon. In the time of Padumuttara Buddha, at the time Gotama Buddha was reborn as a hermit performing his perseverance. On one uposot day, the hermit offered the cloth to the Buddha and set his wish to become a Buddha in the future. Colophons: (1) Folio 16 on the verso side: Chunlasangkat hundred and 69 (corresponding with CS 1169), a moeng mao year. Huachao Sa Thammapannya had the religious faith to inscribe this manuscript [entitled] Sòng sia, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna. The writing was accomplished on the twelfth day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), a hwai san day. The writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of yam thae kai thiang khün (between 21.00–22.30 o’clock). One who borrows, please harry to send it back to me. I care it very much. I ask to put the month and day, the name of the giver and lender. Please do not make the bundle and fascicle confuse, I wrote it with difficulty. (2) Folio 22 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat one hundred and 69 (corresponding with CS 1169), a moeng mao year. Huachao Sa Thammapannya had the religious faith to inscribe this manuscript [entitled] Sòng Nangsü and Sòng kutivit, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna. The writing of this manuscript was accomplished on the thirteenth day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a moeng hao day or a siao pao day, at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Please return for one who borrows [this manuscript], if not you will get sinful. To make a note of the day and month, my name and the name of the borrower. Do not separate the fascicle and bundle, surely keep it safe. Sòng vit, dear Sir. (3) Folio 23 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat one hundred and 609 (corresponding with CS 1169), a moeng mao year. Huachao Sa [who lives] at the southern abode of Vat Luang sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sòng khòt sim, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna. The eleventh day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month, the first day of the week (Sunday), a ka mot day. Do not play on it, you would break your precepts. It is the lunch time. Please hurry in return for one who borrows [this manuscript], if not you will get sinful. To make a note of the day and month before giving away. Do not separate the fascicle and bundle. (4) Folio 23 on the verso side: Sòng khòt sim is here. It belongs to Huachao Sa Thammapannya. Sòng sia nya is the second fascicle. Sòng vit is the third fascicle and Sòng pha buasot (Uposot) is the fourth fascicle. 4 fascicles are bound together. (5) Folio 24 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat one hundred and 69 (corresponding with CS 1169), a moeng mao year. Huachao Sa Thammapannya sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sòng pha uposot, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. My my wish come true. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna. One who borrows this manuscript, please return it back to its place. Do not separate this manuscript from its bundle and fascicle. I do not like. Make a note of the name of the borrower, the month and the day and the name of the temples as well. Sòng pha buasot is the sixth fascicle.
