ເນື້ອໃນກ່າວເຖິງປະຫວັດພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າໂຄຕະມະ ປາງເມື່ອບໍາເພັນປາລະມີມາຕັ້ງແຕ່ເປັນລືສີສຸເມທາແລະໄດ້ຮັບການພະຍາກອນຈາກພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າທີປັງກອນ ຈົນເຖິງໄດ້ຕັດສະຮູ້ເປັນພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າແລະໄດ້ສະຖາປະນາພະທໍາຄໍາສອນຂອງພະພຸດທະອົງກໍ່ຄືພະໄຕປິດົກ. ໃນເນື້ອຍັງກ່າວເຖິງໄລຍະເວລາການດໍາລົງຢູ່ຂອງພະສັດທໍາຈະຄົງຢູ່ເຖິງ ໕໐໐໐ ປີ ແລະສິ່ງທີ່ຈະເກີດຂຶ້ນໃນລະຫວ່າງນີ້. ເມື່ອຄົບ ໕໐໐໐ ປີແລ້ວ ພະສາຣີຣິກະທາດເຊິ່ງປະດິດສະຖານຢູ່ໃນທີ່ຕ່າງໆ ກໍ່ຈະສະເດັດມາເຕົ້າໂຮມກັນເປັນພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າອີກຄັ້ງໜຶ່ງ.

The text tells the story of Gotama Buddha. He had collected the perfections since he was Hermit Sumedha and was predicted by Dipangara Buddha until he attained enlightenment and became the Buddha and established his teachings of Tipitaka. The text also mentions about the duration of the Teachings of the Buddha will be lasted within 5,000 years, and what happen in the meantime. At the end of 5,000 years, all the relics of the Buddha which have been installed in various places will be integrated and become the Buddha one more time.
