Lem Luang is used to preach a sermon depicting a king in Sri Lanka who had collected thousand manuscripts which were recorded the teachings of the previous four Buddhas from various places. Some manuscripts were brought from the sky kingdom by arahants. Anyone who has the faith to make a copy of this Lem luang or make worship to it will gain much merit innumerably. Indra will be kind of the person. Anyone who has a chance to listen to the Lem luang will gain merit. After death, the one will be reborn as great kings in the future lives.
