Parāśarasmṛtivyākhyā - Mādhavīyā

The bundle contains two works: the Parāśarasmṛtivyākhyā (Mādhavīyā) by Mādhava (given here as Mādhavāmatya) (on this work see also B-0301 and B-0434) (part A images 0007-0438). Followed by an Advaita-Vedānta [Fragment of a commentary on a work in ślokas, mentioning several definitions of mithyātva] (part B images 0439-0446). Both texts are incomplete: Parāśarasmṛtivyākhyā comprises 2 adhyāyas (f° 156v: end of the 1st adhyāya; f° 217r: end of the 2nd adhyāya); while in the second text a beginning invocation is found, but probably it is not the beginning of the work. The text in part A has an elaborate colophon with the date of its production - Kollam 1079, 8th Mithunam (June-July) (= 1903 AD), the scribe's name and invcations to Śrīnarasiṃhamūrti and Tiruvārppil Kṛṣṇaṉ, which seems to suggest that the manuscript may have originally belonged to the Tekke Maṭham branch in Tiruvārppu. The bundle is in good condition, with minor damage.
