The series consists of a volume recording the slaves to be freed by the Emancipation Fund of Teixeira in the year 1880, as well as a volume of the abolitionist society, Emancipadora Areiense, dating from 1884.
One of the books has original hardcover, and its folios are yellowing, with parts scratched out. The other book is in a good state of conservation.
