Custodial history: The Ad collection is part of the manuscripts of the former Church Museum of Georgia. The collection has been kept in Tbilisi State University since 1918, in the State Museum of Georgia since 1929. In 1958, it was transferred to the Institute of Manuscripts of the Academy Sciences of Georgia, now the National Manuscript Center. The Hd collection is part of the manuscripts of the former Historicaland Ethnographic Society of Georgia (founded in 1907 in Tbilisi , on the initiative of Ekvtime Takaishvili).A par tof the collections from Moscow and Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) was returned to the republic of Georgia.
