ཤཱཀྱ་མཆོག་ལྡན་གྱི་གསུང་ཐོར་བུ་

This collection features xylographic prints of Shākya Chokden’s works, including treatises on Buddhist philosophy and renowned texts such as Golden Lancet, Profound Thunder Amidst the Clouds of the Ocean of Definitive Meaning, and Rain of Ambrosia. It also contains commentaries on tantras, including a commentary on the Guhyasamāja. Although further research is required, the woodblocks used for this collection are likely to have been carved in Tibet. The colophons of some texts mention individuals involved in the production of the woodblocks. While the exact location remains unclear, it is certain that all the woodblocks were carved at the same site. The collection is printed on cream-colored dhabné handmade paper with black ink. Preserved as a sacred relic, these works of Shākya Chokden are housed in Yongla Temple. Stored without shelves in a specially designated room, each volume is carefully wrapped in layers of cloth, secured between two wooden boards, and tied with string—symbolizing the deep reverence and care dedicated to preserving this spiritual treasure.

Extent: 15 volumes of manuscripts.
