Bhavishya was a magazine published by the Chand Press Limited under the leadership of Ram Rakh Singh Saigal. The first issue of the magazine was published in the month of October, 1930. The subsequent year (1931) was a turbulent phase for the leadership of the publication. Its principal editor changed quite frequently as a result of them being jailed one after another. This Sub-series contains issues of the Bhavishya magazine from the year 1931. Includes articles on dissolution of civil liberties under the Bengal Criminal Law Ordinances and United Provinces emergency powers Ordinances (1931), the legal trial of Ram Rakh Singh Saigal under the The Press And Registration Of Books Act (1867), Lahore and Delhi Conspiracy Cases, legal cases against Indian political leaders, Round Table Conferences, and police violence.
