ວັດສີພຸດທະບາດ

ໜັງສືຄໍາພີໃບລານຈາກວັດສີພຸດທະບາດ ທິບພະຣາມ ນະຄອນຫຼວງພະບາງ ປະເທດລາວ ຂຽນດ້ວຍອັກສອນທໍາລາວ, ອັກສອນລາວ, ພາສາລາວ ແລະພາສາບາລີ ບັນຈຸເນື້ອໃນຄວາມຮູ້ຫຼາຍດ້ານ ປະກອບດ້ວຍຊາດົກ, ທໍາມະທົ່ວໄປ, ນິຍາຍທໍາມະ, ປະເພນີ, ພະວິໄນ, ຄາຖາ, ອານິສົງ, ໂຫຣາສາດ, ຢາພື້ນເມືອງ ແລະໂອວາດຄໍາສອນ.

The manuscripts from Vat Si Phutthabat are palm-leaf manuscript written in Tham Lao and Lao scripts, in Lao and Pali languages contain various kinds of texts including Jataka, General Buddhism, Folktale, Ritual, Vinaya, Anisong (Award), Traditional medicine and Didactics.

Custodial history: Since its founding in CE 1853, Vat Si Phutthabat Thippharam monastery had collected the manuscripts. The manuscripts were donated to the monastery by their sponsors who were monks, members of the royal family, high-ranking officials and lay people lived around the monastery.

Arrangement: The manuscripts are kept together with Khmer manuscripts in a large wooden manuscript cabinet in the Sim (ordination hall) next to the altar. They are preserved in a traditional way.
