தேவதா பூஜை

Title in original script: தேவதா பூஜை The manuscript is formed of a text made of 5 sets of palm leaves. The text, in Sanskrit language, is written in prose in Grantha scripts. The manuscript is in relative good condition; some leaves are dark or slightly damaged by larvae and rodents. The text, entitled Tēvatā Pūjai, explains the appropriate rituals to worship the goddess (Tēva) and Kaṇēṣa. It present the hymns (cūkta) chanted during the performance of apicekam (bath of the deity) as well as the 108 names (aṣṭōtram) of Civa, Murukaṉ and Rāma which recited during their worship. Size of the manuscript: 33,0cm x 3,6cm. The text is composed of 5 sets of palm leaves with numbering 1 to 5, 1 to 2, 1 to 3, 1 to 2, 1 to 3 and of additional leaves which are either blank and with a short inscription. The manuscript is in relative good condition; some leaves are darkened or slightly damaged by larvae and rodents.
