The manuscript is in average condition; the leaves are darkened and fragile due to fungus and larvae infestation; some palm leaves, especially the first and last ones, are broken. The text describes the eight magical actions (aṣṭa karma): vacīkaraṉam (ability to attract a person under one’s own influence), mōkaṉam (ability to cause libidinous fascination), ākarṣaṇam (ability to make a spirit or an absent person visible), uccāṭaṇam (ability to send demoniac forces on a person to cause his/her ruin by reciting the appropriate mantiram), tampaṉam (ability to control the natural forces), vitvēṣaṉam (ability to create hatred between two friends), pētaṉam (ability to provoke separation or desertion) and māraṇam (ability to cause death). The text presents a mantiram used to invoke the god Cuppiramaṇiyaṉ and a yantiram with five facets (Citampara Pañcamuka cakkaram). Some leaves explain the glorification (paṭalam) of the goddess Puvaṉēsvari (Sanskrit, Buvaṉesvari). Size of the manuscript: 20,0cm x 3,8cm. Two blank leaves are placed at the beginning and at the end of the manuscript. The manuscript is in average condition; the leaves are very darkened and fragile due to fungus and larvae infestation; some palm leaves, especially the first and last ones, are broken.
