Title in original script: தலைப்பு இல்லை (மருந்து செய்முறைகள்) The manuscript is constituted of a text containing 32 leaves with several numberings; it is incomplete. The manuscript is in average condition; the leaves are damaged by egg strings of insects or by larvae, or are lightly broken. The text, partially written in prose and in verses, describes formulations of complex medicines: Electuaries: Pañcatīpākkiṉi lēkiyam, Aṣṭa tīpākkiṉi lēkiyam, Mataṉa kāmēsvara lēkiyam, Laku ṣayāti lēkiyam, Aṣṭa lēkiyam and Aṟamāṉa lēkiyam. Calcined white medicine prepared from metals and minerals: Kaṟpūra cilācattu paṟpam, Apraka paṟpam and Nāka paṟpam. Calcined red medicine prepared from metals and minerals: Liṅka centūram according to two methods including that exposed by Piramma Muṉivar, and Aya centūram. Pills: Kuṉma kutōri and a pill called Verukkan kiḻaṅku kaṭuku for treating diseases caused by kapa imbalance (cilettumam). A syrup called Iḷanīr cakkarai pāṉakam and an electuary (racāyaṇam) for treating all types of urinary tract infections (cakala mēkam). Medicines (not named) for treating all diseases (carva nōy), morbid thirst (tākam), vomiting (vānti), diseases caused by pitta imbalance, red patches (ceṅkuṣṭam) and black patch (karuṅkuṣṭam) on the skin, renal calculus (kallaṭaippu), body heat (veppu), presbyopia (veḷḷeḻuttu), smoky vision (nēttira pukaiccal), burning urination (nīr erivu, nīr kaṭuppu), gastritis (erikuṉmam), and for enhancing pregnancy (karppa uṇṭāka). The text informs on the process to purify (cutti) iron (aya) and copper (tāmira), and other metals and raw materials used to prepare aforementioned medicines, and the pure form of mercury obtained by sublimation (paracōti racam). Size of the manuscript: 32,5cm x 3,8cm. The palm leaves of the text have diverse numbering. The manuscript is in average condition; the edge of the leaves is damaged by egg strings of insects or and the leaves have been affected by larvae or are slightly broken.
