"Taḫmīs al-Fayyūmī on the ""Poem of the Mantle,"" The Unwān al-šarīf (""The Token of the Noble"") on the birth of the Prophet [19th century]"

Taḫmīs al-Fayyūmī on the "Poem of the Mantle" by al-Būṣīrī, تخميس الفيومي على البردة; The Unwān al-šarīf ("The Token of the Noble") on the birth of the Prophet, كتاب عنوان الشريف. The two texts together are usually recited in Harar during the celebrations for the birthday of the Prophet. A note on the back cover claims that the book was bought in 1247 A.H./1831-32. The calligraphy of this note seems however much more recent. By Šams al-Dīn Muḥammad al-Fayyūmī; Abū al-Ḥasan Nūr al-Dīn 'Alī b. Nāṣir.
