The document is a police investigation opened by the Pará State Police on 25 January 1911 and sent to the 4th Criminal Court. Both participants in the enquiry were having dinner at the same hotel, when the victim struck up a conversation about the food at the place, and when he suggested that the accused was drunk, the latter responded in a rigid manner. When they left the place at almost the same time, the victim passed close to the accused and fired revolver shots in his direction. The complaint was dismissed.
O documento é um inquérito policial aberto pela Chefatura de Policia do Estado do Pará em 25 de Janeiro de 1911 e destinado ao Juízo de Direito da 4ª Vara Penal. Ambos os participantes do inquérito estavam jantando no mesmo hotel, quando a vítima puxou uma conversa sobre a comida do local, e ao sugerir que o acusado estava bêbado, este o respondeu de forma rígida. Ao saírem do local quase ao mesmo tempo, quando a vítima passou perto do acusado este disparou tiros de revolver em sua direção. A denúncia foi considerada improcedente.
