The document is a police investigation opened by the 3rd Public Prosecutor's Office of the Pará State on 11 September 1909 and sent to the 4th Criminal Court. The accused, who was the victim's neighbour, went to her house, entered without her permission and tried to hit the victim in the face while threatening her. The victim's neighbours intervened. Ricarda was pregnant and had to be seen by a doctor to check that everything was OK with the baby. The defendant was acquitted.
O documento é um inquérito policial aberta pela 3ª Promotoria Pública do Estado do Pará em 11 de Setembro de 1909 e destinado ao Juízo de Direito da 4ª Vara Penal. O acusado, vizinho da vítima, foi até sua casa, entrou sem que fosse autorizado e tentou bater no rosto da vítima enquanto dizia ameaças a ela. As vizinhas da vítima interviram. Ricarda estava grávida e teve que ser atendida por um médico para verificar se estava tudo bem com o bebê. O réu foi absolvido.
