O documento é um processo aberto pelo Juízo de Direito da 4ª Vara Penal em 20 de janeiro 1920 referente ao crime de Desacato cometido por David Christian, Jhon Maisenilh e Peter Bronce Alisson contra a vítima Eduardo Chermont. A vítima, Prefeito Maritimo em serviço no cais da Port of Pará mandou tripulantes estrageiros que se encontravam em estado de embreaguez, perturbando o sossego publico e causando desordens se recolhessem para o navio. O acusado David Christian recusou-se por três vezes e advertido pela autoridade a cumprir suas ordens, acabou agredindo e injuriando a citada autoridade que em consequencia lhe deu voz de prisão. Jhon Maisenilh e Peter Bronce nessa ocasião, procuraram arrebatar abruptamente o preso das mãos do Prefeito Maritimo, havendo luta da qual resultou o emprego de força e deenergia por parte da autoridade que efetuou a prisão dos mesmos. Os acusados foram presos e autuados. Ao final dos autos, os réus foram absolvidos.
