This Cemetery is situated in Blantyre Mission ground and is the General burial place of all the Europeans who die at Blantyre.It is bounded by a wire Fence and thick Hedge with a very fine Iron Standard gate.War graves,It should be noted that there were Originally Many more,M.I.S, but these have over the years, disappeared also many of the original numbers have been Re-arranged.
Each Military Grave has a Number marked on wood and placed at the Foot of the Grave ,only one Military grave has a Permanent gross. All graves have an Iron cross erected except the Men of the Cape Corps who have wooden Crosses.
