The content tells the story of Sujata Buddha. The Bodhisatta was born in the royal family of Sumangala Nakhon. His father named King Uggata and his mother named Queen Pabhavadi. Prince Sujata lived in three castles called Siri, Upasiri, and Sirinanda for 9,000 years. His queen named Sirinandadevi and his son named Upasena Kumara. One day he saw four signs, he was so sad. He then left the worldly life and ordained as an ascetic and later attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. His two distinguished disciples namely Sudassana Thera and Sudeva Thera. His two female distinguished disciples namely Naga Theri and Nagasamala Theri. His attendant named Naraddha Thera. His two lay man supporters named Sudanta and Citta. The Buddha had his physical appearance with 50 cubits high and longevity for 90,000 years. He passed away at the Sira monastery in Candavadi Nakhon. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Buddhist Era (BE) 2488, a hap hao year, on the sixth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). The initiators, Saen Mai Thit Onsi and his wife Saen Kaeo from Xiang Maen village sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Phutthavong (Buddhavaṃsa) to dedicate the merit to their father named Ai Phaeng and our mother named Sao Bun or Nang Phia On and others namely Sao Chanpheng, Sao Pu, Sao Bem, Sao Kham, Xiang Tan, Xiang Thongdi, Thit Ma, Thit Pheng and Thit Khamphan. May the results of this merit move them to a good place, even if they are ghosts or animals, may they be free from suffering and reach happiness and to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May I attain Arahantship. May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, constantly and certainly, the greatest bliss.
