ພະອຸບປະຄຸດມີລັກສະນະເດັ່ນໃນດ້ານມີອິດທິລິດ ເປັນພະອໍລະຫັນທີ່ຍັງມີຊີວິດຢູ່ ອາໄສຢູ່ບໍລິເວນສະດືໃນມະຫາສະໝຸດ. ທ່ານເກີດຫຼັງພຸດທະການໃນຊ່ວງພະເຈົ້າອະໂສກມະຫາຣາດປົກຄອງເມືອງປາຕະລິບຸດ. ຄັ້ງໜຶ່ງ, ພະເຈົ້າອະໂສກມະຫາຣາດ ໄດ້ຈັດງານສະຫຼອງສົມໂພດພະສະຖູບເຈດີທີ່ພະອົງຊົງສ້າງຂຶ້ນ ຈໍານວນ ໘໔,໐໐໐ ອົງ ເປັນເວລາ ໗ ປີ ໗ ເດືອນ ໗ ວັນ. ໃນຂະນະນັ້ນ ພະຍາມານໄດ້ປາກົດຕົວແລະບັນດານໃຫ້ມີຝົນຕັກໜັກເພື່ອທໍາລາຍພິທີການສະຫຼອງນັ້ນ. ພິກຂຸທັງຫຼາຍໄດ້ນິມົນພະອຸບປະຄຸດເຖລະຂຶ້ນມາປາບພະຍາມານຈົນພະຍາມານພ່າຍແພ້. ເນື້ອໃນຍັງກ່າວເຖິງ ພະເຈົ້າອະໂສກມະຫາຣາດ ໄດ້ອະນຸຍາດໃຫ້ພະຣາຊະໂອລົດແລະພະຣາຊະທິດາ ຊົງພະນາມວ່າ ເຈົ້າມະຫິນທະຣາຊະກຸມມານ ແລະພະນາງສັງຄະມິດຕາຣາຊະທິດາ ພ້ອມດ້ວຍຕິດສະມະຫາອຸປະຣາດພະອະນຸຊາ (ນ້ອງຊາຍ) ແລະ ຫຼານຊາຍ ອັກຄິທັດຕະພາມ ອອກບວດເປັນພິກຂຸແລະພິກຂຸນີ ເພື່ອເຮັດໃຫ້ພະອົງເປັນທາຍາດພະພຸດທະສາສະໜາຕາມຄໍາແນະນໍາຂອງຄະນະສົງ. ຕໍ່ມາ, ພະເຈົ້າອະໂສກມະຫາຣາດໄດ້ສົ່ງພະທໍາມະທູດ ໙ ສາຍ ອອກໄປເຜີຍແຜ່ພະພຸດທະສາສະໜາໃນທະວີບຕ່າງໆ. ພະມະຫາໂສນະເຖລະແລະພະອຸດຕະຣະເຖລະ ພະທໍາມະທູດ ສາຍທີ ໘ ໄດ້ເດີນທາງມາເຜີຍແຜ່ພະພຸດທະສາສະໜາໃນດິນແດນສຸວັນນະພູມ ຫຼື ອາຊີອາຄະເນ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໑) ລານທີ ໒໕ ໜ້າ ໒: ມະຫາອຸປະຄຸດແລ້ວຍາມກອງແລງຂ້າພະເຈົ້າສົມເດັດບຸບຜາປັນຍາເປັນຜູ້ຂຽນ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໒) ລານທີ ໒໖ ໜ້າ ໑: ສັງກາດ ໒໔໗ (ກົງກັບ ພ.ສ. ໒໔໗໒) ຕົວ ປີກັດໃສ້ ວະສັນຕະຣະດູ ເດືອນ ໑໐ ຂຶ້ນ ໖ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໒ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມກອງແລງ ໝາຍມີ ສາວສຸກພ້ອມດ້ວຍລູກເຕົ້າຊູ່ຄົນ ຢູ່ບ້ານຊຽງມ່ວນໄດ້ສ້າງ ອຸປະຄຸດຫລວງ ມັດນີ້ມີ ໑໕ ຜູກ ໄວ້ໃນພະພຸດທະສາສະໜາ ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ພະວັດສາ ຂໍໃຫ້ໄດ້ດັ່ງຄໍາມັກຄໍາປາດຖະໜາກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫນຕຸ ນິດຈັງໆ.

Sao Suk and all her children from Xiang Muan village sponsored the making of this manuscript-bundle consisting of 15 fascicles, entitled Upakhut Luang (Great Upagupta) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
