The gods in Catuamaharajika have longevity for 500 heavenly years which is equivalent to 9 million years in the human world. Anyone who abstrained from killing will be reborn as a god in Catuamaharajika heaven with the body of 6 thousand vā (two metters) height. The gods in the Tavatimsa have longevity for 1,000 heavenly years. The gods in the Yama have longevity for 2,000 heavenly years. The gods in the Tusitsa have longevity for 4,000 heavenly years. The gods in the Nimmanarati have longevity for 8,000 heavenly years. The gods in the Paranimmitavasavatti have longevity for 16,000 heavenly years.
