On on occasion, the Buddha was present at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi, giving a sermon on the rewards derived from the donation of khan hom (umbrellas), settasat (tiered umbrellas) and phi dan (cloth ceillings). Any person who has the religious faith to donate umbrellas, tiered umbrellas and cloth ceillings as gifts, will gain much merit with wealth. After death, the person will be reborn in the heaven with a gold castle with seven kinds of gem and angels as servants.
